At Luminous Health & Wellness, we are excited to introduce  Polydioxanone (PDO) threads!  We are exclusively using Novathreads.  These are hypodermic needles preloaded with a synthetic PDO absorbable suture.  All of the sutures are FDA-approved and safe to use.  Your skin will absorb the Novathread in approximately 4 to 6 months.  Don't worry, no scar tissue will be left behind.  

 

​Novathread stimulates the production of collagen and therefore you will likely see results up to a year post-insertion.

The procedure consists of injecting a local anesthetic into the entry points for the threads. The PDO Novathreads are introduced using a microcannula.

 

Great results can be also achieved by doing facial harmonization.  This technique involves combining PDO Novathreads with dermal fillers and or neuromodulators. Treatment time varies and it depends  on the area that is being treated.
