ABOUT THE EXAM
What is an FAA
Airman Medical Exam?
The FAA medical exam — also called the Airman Medical Exam or flight physical — verifies that a pilot's health meets FAA standards to safely operate an aircraft. It is required for all pilots seeking or renewing their medical certificate.
Dr. Medina Galvan is an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), authorized to administer Class 1, 2, and 3 physicals and submit results directly to the FAA through the MedXpress system.

The Airman Medical Exam is NOT a replacement for your annual preventive physical. This is an occupational screening exam only — we are not treating medical conditions at this visit.
