Dr. Medina Galvan
Dr. Medina Galvan and her team are here to provide you with the best service in the North Houston area.
Diana Medina Galvan, M.D., is a board-certified Family Physician as well as board-eligible in Obesity Medicine. Dr. Medina Galvan is currently an active member of the Texas Medical Association & Harris County Medical Society. She served as president of the East Branch of the Harris Medical Society in 2018.
Fighting obesity is her passion due to its association with poorer health outcomes and numerous co-morbidities including diabetes, stroke, and heart disease.
Our goal is to help patients lose weight via cognitive behavioral therapy so that this goal is achieved long term. Dr. Medina Galvan is well-equipped to treat patients with her experience and the empathy they deserve.
We look forward to not only enhancing the appearance of our patients, but to also aid in the illumination of their life experiences.
Elizabeth M. Arze graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Science and Arts in Neuroscience.
Elizabeth is a nationally recognized speaker and is known through-out Houston area schools for her talks on anti-bullying, keeping children on track to graduation, and teaching kids the importance of caring for their mental health throughout their school years.
Elizabeth has also taken her talks and school programs across state lines to her home state of New Mexico. There, she regularly met with school officials to gain understanding on where pitfalls arise in our public education system and hopes to do the same in Texas.
Her passions lie in state and national policy regarding the protections of children and the physiological outcomes of their childhood experiences.
Her keen eye for aesthetics and her drive to help patients accomplish their goals are reinforced every day working alongside Dr. Medina. She cares deeply for the internal transformation each patient experiences at Luminous Health & Wellness and believes in the mission to help each patient "dare to live luminously".
